there is dis guy who hugs and holds me like we are a couple but we aren't. and talks to me, not at me...but he ignores me around his friends, even if they are mine too. i've know this guy for a while 2 years, he is black but acts white and emo-ish kind of, i'm black and kind of act white. anyway, sooo he ignores me around his friends, but is really nice when we're alone, and its genuine, b/c i can tell when a guy is fake. like he'll remember if i was sick and ask me if im doing better. he waits for me at my friends locker and puts his arms around me, but i can't get over the fact that he ignores me and some times gets really moody and won't even talk. what does this mean?

You asked, so here goes the unadulterated scoop. He cares for you, but no man will ever give you more respect than you demand. At some point, you allowed him to believe that his behavior was OK. You should have checked his a** the first time he disrespected you in public. Now he thinks he's got it like that.

i think it means that he is to proud to tell his friends that he likes you if he does, and if he acts like you guys are a couple but you arent, then maybe he likes you but isnt ready to tell you or his friends, because hes afraid
