My fellow blind mice, you may disagree with all I say, it's logical. Nothing in life is more moot, than existence and everything in it. Some believe in it, others deny it; others don't care. It's all irrelevant; it's all deranged, that's existence. I call it "deranged devotion". -Exousia Skotos

My question is to make you think; hopefully your answer will help me evolve.

"everlasting servitude" is the main fallacy here. Everlasting life is not necessarily the same thing. And any kind of servitude is a matter of attitude. A glass is either half full or half empty (attitude). The attitude of Exousia Skotos is not shared by everyone; hence, does not necessarily represent the truth of reality. You have to form your own attitude. Hope you form the most realistic one that is actually the closest to the real truth of all of existence.

Ever had a pet? Did it have a say so in where it sleeps at night or what it eats? Did you ask your parents to be born? Have you been angry at being forced into working day jobs to pay for responsibilities you didn't ask for?

Does your pet or child have a right to question your judgment and decisions? Is it vain that you decided your seed is worth spreading?

My son eats his vegetables even if he doesn't want to, because I understand that he has an incomplete view of a healthy life, and as a responsible parent I step in because "I know what's best". He will love me for it by the time he fully realizes what I've done for him, and he will be thankful that I didn't allow him to completely govern himself.

When you are able to look at the face of those who give you gifts such as life, it is harder to ignore the humbling pangs of gratitude and debt. Or would you rather actively hide from them, so that you may continue your sense of self righteousness? My sense of self worth, is not actually based on my actions and abilities, it is based on the fact that I am hopelessly imperfect, yet some how worth a sacrifice from God. The truth is, I'm not worth it, it's divine Grace, and I am thankful.

Like the existentialists of many years ago now, some intellectuals [those limited to the Left- Hemisphere of the brain as their only resource for understanding] fail to climb the next step of Spiritual evolution wherein one begins to intuitively realize the underlying but super subtle truths of life.

Such as Karma, reincarnation, MIND fully separate from brain, Fate Karma, etc.

The assumption of a certain meaningless to life is the clear indication that someone is knocking at the door to higher understanding... but the door is closed to that person. What keeps the door closed is fear of the "Unknown" within oneself.

Rather than "thinking"... one is better served by opening up and sincerely attempting to encourage ones intuition. It is ones intuition that will allow one to move within oneself for answers that cannot be found outside.

"Woe to him who quarrels with his Maker,
to him who is but a potsherd among the potsherds on the ground.
Does the clay say to the potter,
'What are you making?'
Does your work say,
'He has no hands'?

Woe to him who says to his father,
'What have you begotten?'
or to his mother,
'What have you brought to birth?'

"This is what the LORD says—
the Holy One of Israel, and its Maker:
Concerning things to come,
do you question me about my children,
or give me orders about the work of my hands? "

What's wrong with existence? Where would we be without it?

What is your main complaint anyway?
