I can't believe you are asking this question?!! LOL! I thought I was the only person in the world to ever think of doing this! I actually did use a bit of bleach on my toothbrush and brushed my teeth with it in high school to remove the stains, because I also couldn't afford to go to the dentist. Bleach did not do any damage to my teeth that I am aware; however, I didn't do it long enough to find out if it was actually effective - for fear of damaging my teeth permanently. I think I thought it did help, but again, there was the fear that it might eat all my teeth and I'd be gummin' it! Which, doesn't sound too bad now, because at least if I had dentures I could do a neat trick - pull all my teeth out and put them back in with one hand motion!!

NO! Not bleach. That stuff could kill you if you drink a lot of it. What you can do is brush with baking soda and water. Just a little will do the trick. I saw that you said that your parents don't have much money but if for Christmas they can afford it the Crest whitening strips are not all that bad at all. Just use them every other day not every day like it says. But if you can't the baking soda and water brush will help you out a lot.
Good luck!

Um, no, you can't put bleach on your teeth....
As far as not being able to afford going to the dentist, put it on your Christmas list....
You could also do some odd jobs for people to raise some money on your own... just as you would for something you'd love to have from the store...
Where there's a will, there's a way.
Good luck to you, and have a Merry Christmas.

Okay, everybody's teeth are a little yellow, but maybe buy a toothpaste with whitening in it. And a sonic toothbrush, but not those really exspensive ones!! Just the $4 ones, by like colgate or something. Maybe arm and hammer, or crest or colgate toothpaste.

Bleach as far as I know is toxic, so for gosh sakes don't go putting that in your mouth!
Two things that should help you out:
Crest Whitestrips (a classic)
Or, something that really changed things for me:
http://www.amazon.com/Crest-Whitening-Toothpaste-Protection-8-Ounce/dp/B000FKHKWG
You can get it at pretty much any grocery/drug stores, and it costs as much as any tube of toothpaste. Brush twice a day with this stuff, and after a couple weeks you'll see a bit improvement!
Good luck!

No, no, no, no, no...Don't use chlorine bleach or your risk poisoning yourself in a very painful way. You can use small amounts of hydrogen peroxide as a dental rinse after brushing, and you can even gargle with it if you so choose. That's about all the "bleach" you can safely stand.

No you can't it would seriuously give you chemical burn.
Use proffesional whiting products or cosmetic surgery. I know its expensive, so save for either. Just a little bit each week maybe
