Unfortunately, we are born with a Sin Nature. This is due to Adam and Eve's curse in the Garden of Eden, when the Lord told them not to eat from the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. We now have to be born into a sinful world because of their choice to disobey God's instructions. Before that the world was going to be like Heaven is. They were kicked out of the garden and thus every human born after them are cursed with a curse. Women have pain in childbirth, and men will have sweat on their brow from working the land each day for food for his family (they should be, anyway. lol).

This is why Christ Jesus taught his disciples that they have to be "born again" so that they might be saved from eternal death which only happens if you live in sin and do not ask Christ to come into your heart. You are going to "Hell" or to "the Lake of Fire," if you don't do this.

All humans should live by the Holy Bible and the Word or God who is Christ Jesus. Claim Him as your Lord and Savior, and believe that he was crucified on the cross for our sins so that we might have everlasting life in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Amen, Amen, Amen!!!!!!!!!!!

Well..... I'm not really sure. I always debated whether it's neither, because man is a very....
Yeah. Neither. The human race is just selfish. I guess it leans more towards evil than good, but that all comes down to morality and stuff. I think.

My religion is atheism...
*Trying to figure out why that matters....*

Both. It says in the Bible that no one can be perfect. Only God is perfect. Also, if you look at a yin yang, it is black and white with spots of black and white in the opposing sides. That symbol clearly represents that no one can be perfect. We all have good and evil in us, it's our decision what we pick to do. God also gave Man FREE WILL. If you know something is wrong but you do it anyway, than that is a clear example of free will. I'm a Christian. I just read the Bible, and try to act accordingly. We're all on our way out!
On the flipside, I did know this guy who is a Pastor, and he's the most evil person I know. He takes advantage of the elderly, disabled, and poor. He kicks people out of their home in the freezing cold with no where to go. (He's also a landlord) He cheats on his wife. He put his hand on the Bible and LIED. I could go on. The point is, just because someone looks like they are going to heaven, doesn't MEAN they are. Evil can be a wolf in sheep's clothing.
Human nature, in short, you can't generalize because of free will. People are born a blank slate, and past that point, they make their own decisions whether to be evil or good.

Basically good -- but if you're talking about human nature in the states of Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, and West Virginia; and anywhere else that church people exist in large numbers -- it's basically silly.

in accordance to a tremendously unlikely source that maximum persons could even evaluate establishing: we are impartial. To wrap my previous malevolent view of the universe(each physique is evil, taught via many faiths), I used the metaphor of hearth. hearth is impartial till it extremely is utilized. the comparable spark that have been given your hearth going this morning, is the comparable spark that ought to of all started a wooded area on hearth. some Atheist even inspite of the undeniable fact that, take the polar opposite of a few believers, and propose 'human nature is basicly good'. and a few of those, inspite of the undeniable fact that not all, grow to be in simple terms as antagonistic as many of the believers do. Committing arson for rational-motives, remains committing arson, wether you call it good or evil and wether you're making that judgement as an atheist or a believer. Human-nature impartial in potential, Consequent, basically in its utility.

Human nature has a funny habit of dividing things into dualities like good and evil. I am an agnostic.

It has potential to be both, based on the decisions that we make. I would say though, right now it seems evil due to the hate, wars, killing, prejudice/racism, anger and negligence that takes place across the globe. however, at the same time it can be good in places due to charity, kindness, justice, equality, love and the small bit of peace that is still out there. I am Catholic.

Neither, as the concepts of inherent good or evil give an excuse for not self-modulating behaviour.
For the most part, humans are products of their environment and their upbringing, although certain traits are inherited.
I inherited my father's strength of will and anger, although whether this is genetic or from observation is up for debate.
I think everyone starts off with a tabula rasa.
