Traditionally, egg nog (I personally don't like it), hot spiced cider spiked with spiced rum or brandy, hot mulled wine. You can keep the hot drinks warm in a crock pot. In the case of the cider, add the alcohol to the glass, not the pot.

Cranberry, vodka, and soda add some fresh fruit like pineapple and oranges yum. Or you could just have a huge glass bowl full of rum and eggnog and ice.
