What can a doctor do other than analyze a physical problem? Maybe prescribe some medication or in a worse case scenario, cut out some tissue. He certainly can't do miracles. We'll do all we can when we need to. Using prayer and also people who are trained in medicine.

There is nothing wrong with getting an expert opinion on a ailment. I also get expert opinions or work, for my car, haircuts, taxes, etc. The doctor serves a purpose.

Why would it be against God's will? God uses all sorts of people in different areas of life for all kinds of purposes. If it is God's will that anyone should be healed, why would he not send us to a doctor. Some people he chooses to heal spontaneously through a miracle, others he may not. That doesn't mean that being healed isn't his will. He just may send us to the doctor to do it.

If it's the gods' will that I'm going to die, not doctor will be able to save me.

I go to doctors because humanity was granted intelligence for a reason. I don't think the gods want us to just sit around and wait and see what fate throws us.

Because God is on strike. He refuses to see anyone until we have a decent (torture free) president in the White House.
So the next appointment to see God will not be available until 2009.

Just because religious people discredit everyone who is NOT the same as they are is not a reason for the rest of us to discredit them for taking advantage of the good life offered by secular progress.

If it weren't God's will, there would be no doctors. He allows men to use the brains He created for the purpose of helping heal His children.

Of course it is. God made them sick as some punishment after all. Yet they go anyhow looking for cures from their god's diseases and wonder why people think Christianity is nothing but hypocrisy.
