depending on what kind of fryng pan it is. what is it made of? first thing you need to know is that if it is a non stick fry pan DO NOT SEASON IT otherwise if its cast iron just set your oven to 500 degrees then oil your pan with olive oil or butter and stick it in the oven until the fat starts sizzling and getting consumed. make sure you only put a little bit of fat "DONT FILL UP THE PAN" just put enough fat co barely cover the bottom. you wold do the same with any other pan. also after it has been seasoned NEVER WASH IT AGAIN just wipe it down with a dam towel or sponge. If one day you really really need to wash it do so but you will have to repeat the seasoning prosess.

The way I do mine is to cover it with any kind of oil, using a paper towel to spread it around. Then put the pan in the oven and heat it thoroughly for a few minutes. I usually don't put the oil on the outside of the pan, just on the inside. I've also done it on top of the stove.

put cooking oil in it. spread it all around until the entire inside of the pan is coated then heat the pan up until the oil starts to smoke. then let it cool down, wash it and your ready to go.
