Corell is very durable, no doubt about it! But I still don't think it's nice enough when I have friends over for dinner - so I guess it depends on your taste, and how much you entertain. I find that stoneware is a nicer look and feel, and still really durable. Corning used to make some nice sets, but I haven't had to shop for it in a while, seeing as the set I have has held up for years!

I agree, Corelle, I have had my Corelle dishes for at least 25 years they are still perfect, chip free & all. They have been used in the dishwasher & washed by hand, no problems.

I agree, Corell is great, I use it for my dinners at thanksgiving and at christmas. I use it everyday and I use it when I have guest over. No need to change dinnerware for guest.

Corell is great for everyday. They clean up easy, are microwave and dishwasher friendly, and won't break when they get dropped.
