avoid high fat foods as these cause the gallbladder to produce the extra bile needed for digestion. when i had attacks - due to gallstones - i could feel the pain start at my upper abdomen and it would work all the way around. the pain is indescribeable (sp)really. i can tell you, it would get so bad, i'd pass out from it.

im not real sure of advanced stages of gall bladder attacks. i started out with major heart burn all of a sudden and nothing helped. had xrays and dicovered 4 gallstones. the dr. recommended removing the gall bladder before the real problem began. i have heard it causes bad stomach problems though. have it checked if it continues!!
