Carnival caters a lot to kids. Disney does too but it is more expensive. Depends what your budget is.

I suggest taking your son on the Royal Caribbean ships, Freedom of the Seas, or Liberty of the Seas. Royal Caribbean has great programs for kids called Adventure Ocean. They have the special areas on ships just for kids; the ice skating rink, mini-golf, basketball court, table tennis, and the RC exclusive flowrider where kids or anyone can surf right on the ship. The Freedom and Liberty also have a special pool area just for kids called the H2O Zone with its own mini-lazy river, pool, water cannon and other play stuff.
If your kids is still enthused with Disney characters you may want to consider them but I think Royal Caribbean provides kids a great cruise experience. Since Disney has only two ships your options with them will be limited. On the other hand, RC (and Carnival) have many ships and therefore your options for destination ports are more. Prices on RC and Carnival will also beat what Disney charges.
If you go on the RC's Freedom or Liberty (or their new identical ship, Independence, coming out next year, one of the port stops will be RTC's private island Labadee. That is a fabulous place with all types of activities.

i could propose Royal Caribbean for a family individuals cruise. Royal Caribbean has marvelous courses for little ones and adults. Their adventure Ocean infant's software is in simple terms incredible with activities for little ones as much as 18 years. till you're captivated with Disney, i does not propose Disney. different than the actuality that it extremely is Disney, there is not lots to it. Princess and Holland united states of america of america are particularly for adults. Carnival looks like the ideal family individuals cruise line, even inspite of the undeniable fact that it is not. Carnival is infamous for awful carrier, food, and rooms. So, using the technique of removal, i could propose Royal Caribbean. the adventure Ocean is massive, the food outstanding, and the fees are super. the superb family individuals ships are the Voyager classification ships, containing of the Voyager Of The Seas, adventure Of The Seas, Explorer Of The Seas, Mariner Of The Seas, and Navigator Of The Seas. Even extra desirable is the liberty Of The Seas, the biggest deliver afloat. to offer you a splash flavor, the liberty is composed of ice skating, theater, rock wall, various swimming pools, boxing ring, water park, and extra. The Voyager classification ships sail to the Caribbean and Med. Sea. the liberty Of The Seas will commence crusing interior the Western Caribbean on June 4. i desire this helps!

The best one id Disney. Though most of the cruiselines offer activities for children, such as Caribbean and Carnival, the Disney cruiseline is created especially for children and families to enjoy together. Plus, there are adult things onboard that you can do while your 11 year old enjoys himself.

i think disney would be best and i saw a tape about it and there is a lot there for adults as well...very nice beaches and pools and bars and spa's for just adults and there is nice stuff for kids too and teens from clubs and shows and beaches and pools and loads more that i can't think of at the moment and there is stuff the whole family can do. so maybe it would be nice if you invited one of his friends to join yours so he would have someone to hang out w/ when you wanted adult time and then as a family you could all hang out. i went to disney world and my parents invited my friend to join us and i have to say it was a load of fun. also i remember the movie saying that on the disney cruise ship the rooms are more bigger then your avage cruise ship.
