i'm in the 8th grade- 13 yrs. old. i have never had a boy like me. all the people in my class had at least had a boy like them. i'm not a big jerk, i'm actually pretty nice. i'm not the prettiest girl in school, but i don't think i'm completely ugly! i'm so upset! everytime i like a guy, they never like me back! i don't know what to do about it! does anybody have any advice?

you know, one writer said that the biggest problem when you're young that you don't understand that it's not forever. if nobody asked you out by 13 you think you'll never get married. you take everything too serious. we have all been there. I also used to think that something is wrong with me because I first didn't have a boyfriend. then didn't kiss. then didn't have sex. didn't like my first experience. and so on. till I learnt to love myself. the thing you need most of all is to believe in yourself, respect yourself... you're good with or without a boyfriend. dating is about being happy, not about proving others that you have some value. if you'll date every boy at school you won't become better. just relax and try to be more confident. you'll make a lot less mistakes like that. A lot girls do things they should not just because they don't want to loose their boyfriend and stay alone.

You are way, waaaaaay too young for a real b/f. You're only 13 yrs. old, hon!! You're much too impatient. Are you spoiled? I do not believe for one second that you are the only girl in your class who hasn't had a boy friend. But if it is true, so what?? Anyway, if you are chasin' after boys, phoning them, and annoying them, no wonder you haven't attracted a b/f.

Try talking to guys more, maybe they just don't know you.
