It seems I've somehow persuaded you that I myself have never sinned, and my suffering is all Eve's fault. That was clever of me.

Hello Bete noire.
Yes, but only for someone in my immediate family, not for anyone in generally.
Jesus said to "give onto Caesar what is Caesar's", etc. Going to jail for someone else is going to jail for something they earned and therefore theirs. Going to jail for a member of my family is my choice and therefore
a different thing.
As for All woman paying for Eve's punishment, do I have to start again with fanatical, fundamentalist litoral ways of interpreting The Bible. Give me a break, you don't want the pain of childbirth, walk around on all fours for about 25 years, that aught to get all the ol' hip bones re-aligned back to where they were before mankind got up and started walking around on two legs not to mention getting rid of the 'roids.
My little half Chiwawa, half Terrier mix (about a foot off the ground) had 3 litters from my 70 pound Husky, they all popped out faster than toast out of the toaster, and the next day she was hopping around faster than Bill Clinton around a chubby intern !
You want to blame everything on The Bible, fine, but first quit eating all those fri&&in apples for a few years, see if things don't get better, OK ?
Regards,
Lenny.

I don't believe we are "paying" for Eve's sin. What the Garden of Eden Sin was really about was rebellion from God, and separation from God. You can not undo what was already done, so we are suffering the consequences for Adamic Sin. There are many times when others suffer the consequences of our actions, and when we suffer from others actions. This is just cause and effect. And it isn't just women who are paying for it, all of mankind does.

No because that would be lying. God despises a lire.
Christians are not paying for sin, Christ paid it for us at the cross and He didn't go to jail he gave His life. If you are a Christian you are free. However before He died He gave us His comand,
"To Love One Another" so we try the best we can, and we pray daily for His help. Some days are better than others.

Christianity is WHY they dedicate crimes!! examine shows that the clarification people conflict with emotion to discover equitable ideas is pinpointed the region of the strategies noted as the insular cortex, or insula, this is likewise the seat of emotional reactions. the reality that the strategies has this sort of physically powerful reaction to unfairness shows that sensing unfairness is a straight forward developed means. The emotional reaction to unfairness pushes people from severe inequity and drives them to be uncomplicated. This fact shows our straight forward impulse to be uncomplicated isn't a complicated element that we learn. It subsequently completely illustrates that all and sundry people have morals controlled by using the strategies and that Christians are fullyyt incorrect to objective and declare morals as their very own!!!! yet Christians got here upon a fashion around it!! government information instruct that christians are hugely over represented in prisons for sexual, violent and fraudulent crime!! The Catholic church is paying thousands and thousands in reimbursement for the intercourse/pedophile crimes of their clergymen on my own!! Christians are hugely over represented interior the divorce courts!! Christians invented the thought of sin and then the thought which you will sin, ask forgiveness, get pardoned and initiate with a sparkling sheet!! So no ask your self that they are so expert at it extremely is it?!!! A Christian is a guy that feels repentance on Sunday for what he did on Saturday and is going to do on Monday. - Thomas Russell Ybarra

Not anywhere close to the same thing...you should pay attention to the Bible: "the sins of the father shall be visited unto the son"...think long and hard about the implications of that one sentence...

There is no justice nor any morality in the Christian notion of original sin, it's a vile doctrine but it's what the whole church hangs on, it is responsible for all the creepy self-hatred, self-pity and self- righteousness associated with Christians and Christianity.
Then supposedly Jesus comes along and pardons them for this sin they were not responsible for anyway but still they must live crawling on their knees for the rest of their lives...it's hideous dogma.

No I wouldn't. We are all paying for our own sins. Everyone sins, including Christians and non-believers, you and me. That is what Jesus died for.
