last night was a dance and me and my bf went. while we were there we danced alot and had alot of fun. after 2 hours the last song was always a slow song and we danced during that one too. at the end i kissed him (we just started going out and never kissed before) in front of his and my friends and the song ended and we walked outside together. all this morning he hasn't called or anything and he was all quiet outside. we're both in 8th grade and are really great friends. he's a bit of a dork and i doubt a girl ever kissed him before. what does he saying from being all quiet and not calling me for once?

Hey, I am in 8th grade too. I have a best friend that is a boy that like tells me everything. Guys never want to seem to eager to like talk to u again, he probally wants u to call him. Guys want things that they cant have so maybe you should just relax he will defnitely call!

It was just last night! Boys don't get as carried away with this stuff as girls do; especially in 8th grade. Give it some time. And don't be in such a hurry to get physically involved with a new boy. Things move quickly enough and you've got a long life ahead of you.

quit wondering and just pick up the phone and call him. Tell him that you aren't sure how he felt about what happened at the dance. Find out if you have crossed a line that he didn't want to be crossed. If so, say your sorry and tell him you were just caught up in the moment (if you don't want to lose his friendship that is) If says that he liked the kiss and expresses interest in you, then express your interest in him and voila! everything is settled.

You know what I think it is....HE IS IN 8TH GRADE!!! Boys are so immature and you can't expect them to really call you all the time. If he hasn't told you he will call then don't expect him to. Don't worry though. You guys go to school together so you will be fine.

I think he may be a little insecure and doesn't want to hear that he was a bad kisser! Perhaps he fears you may think needs practice! But if he hasn't call and he usually does why don't give him a call and she how he is doing? It will reassure him that you still like him!

It may be that he's a little embarrassed. He might have been teased by his friends. Communicate. I will tell you that is THE key to any relationship. Ask him about his feelings. It may take a little bit; guys can be stubborn about not talking about their personal feelings. Good luck.

He might be really embarassed you kissed him in front of a bunch of friends so doesn't know what to say to you. His friends may have all called him today teasing him.

he probably just had an awkward moment .. it would be kinda hard once you get more close.. then he wont be soo quiet anymore.. he probably thinks that you think something bad about him .. like the way he kisses.. self problem .. lol dont worry it'll work out

I think it's okay..It's probably a new experience for him, and he probably doesn't really know how to respond right now, so he isn't saying anything...so don't worry about it. I am sure all will be just fine the next time you see him....
