I think about my Saviour a whole lot, and not just at Christmas!
As for the answer of Slave of 12 Gods - you will one day learn of what Jesus Christ has done for you and understand the meaning of His great sacrifice.
And, just to confirm, Christmas commemorates the birth of Jesus, but we would be silly not to ponder why He came to Earth in the first place, so His death and resurrection are of some importance too!

I do actually, well I think more about his birth, how there was this hugely pregnant teenage girl and nobody let them stay in their home. It's really quite sad. And I go to church, I go every week but Christmas day is always the best! Everyone is so happy that day, and I usually do a reading or light a candle or something so it makes me feel you know, involved.

I am aetheist so wil not concentrate on the religious aspects of Christmas. A mid winter celebration and feasting goes way back beyond Cristianity's arrival in the British Isles, so I will be enjoying a celebration with my family and friends to lighten up the depths of winter. However, in doing so I will respect anybody elses desire to celebrate the birth of Christ (or any other religion's take on the veleif in a higher power) and wil consider and contribute to those less fortunate than me at this time. Christian values are not exclusive to those who believe in Christ!

well i wont be thinking of him dying on the cross, i will however be going to church to celebrate his birth. I don't call myself a christian because i know there are many times when i am not christian like and that i don't follow the bible, as i find it too contradictory.
Too answer your question i will admit i love thelights, turkey and giving my son presents...but i do explain to him the reason he is getting the presents and all the trimmings is because we are celebrating the birth of jesus...let the backlash begin!!

Our service is at 5 am, but we made it last year and shall do our best to be there this year, to thank God for His unspeakable gift.
In Europe the churches holding a midnight communion service are packed out. In the church we attended in central London, people have (sadly) to be turned away. You can't take communion without thinking about the cross.

He did not die on the cross the NT says so. Its just the Xtian spin put on the text.
Easter is in the the spring.
The Xtian faith is just an cruel distortion of the Druid idea of the cycle of the birth of the sun, its conquest of winter, its maturity, its death caused by human sin - when the sun is hung on a tree. The winter returns.

I think about Jesus all the time and yes I do reconize the fact that He died on the cross for my sins but do relize that Jesus did resurrect and went to heaven after being here for a further 40 days.

I think about it not only at Christmas, but all through the year. The most precious gift was when Christ was born, living to teach, and dying on the cross for all sinners, so they may repent and have eternal life. You can't get any better gift than that.

Not at all. I see christmas as a National holiday, because I think, Therefore I am an atheist. The bible says evil things. And if all our sins die why doesn't the big b*stard in the sky let us back into Eden?

While I am celebrating the WINTER SOLSTICE, I will not be thinking about your mythical inventions at all. I will be glad to be spending time with my family celebrating the fact that the earth has been renewed and the days will be getting longer again.

Interested in the whole atmosphere of a holiday.
Won't go to church.
Will think about JC purely because you can't avoid it. And why do you lot have to focus on his "sacrifice" ... that's what you do on Easter, not the day (where he is by convention) believed to be BLOODY born! I bet JC won't be too impressed.
