Yep, It is a Mexican who has a monopoly on the cell phone companies there, I believe. His name is Carlos Slim.

Despite what answers that you have, the richest people in the world are christians. True some may not have much money, but what they do have is eternal life and that is permanent. The temporal riches of money and material wealth is not going to last more than a lifetime on this earth (75-80yrs at best) and you certainly cannot take anything with you.
