I just started using a PS13-B Rayovac rechargeable battery charger, and was wondering how long it takes to charge batteries for the first time? The instructions say the LED will shut off when charging is completed, but it has been on for almost two hours now. Does it typically take this long to charge them the first time? How long to charge them when you have started using them?

Thanks.

I have read the instructions, actually, but they were vague as to the time length. I was just wondering if it was normal for it to take as long to charge them as it is taking.

It can take up to 10 or 12 hours, depending on the discharge state of the batteries. You should look at the instructions for that charging unit.

If you read the instructions completely, they might tell you what you need to know.
