I have 2 male, and neutered cats. First one is yami, he is fat, long haired and very nice to everyone. The other is fenix and the alpha cat and is a tuxedo, long/skinny has a lot of muscle and is nice to ME only. My problem is that the mere sight of yami makes fenix hiss at him. They are BOTH brothers, came out of the very same litter. Wouldnt they be pals? Yami is a peaceful kitty and rarely fights back. But fenix is always on his toes ready to attack. If yami comes out out of the corner fenix ALWAYS bats at his face. I mean claws out and everything. I just dont understand why fenix hates yami! i use the spray bottle on them if their bad! SOMEONE please tell me how to get my kitties to get along with each other!

They are both exactly 5 years old. But they didnt get neutered until 7 months ago. So they lived their first 4 years of life not neutered.

How old are they? How long have they been around each other?

The longer they're around each other in the same house, the more they'll tolerate each other....

They will when they are ready.Let them do it on there own terms and time. They just have to find out who is the king of the castle and will happen naturally.

FYI I have 8 cats and as I got a new one it happens and now they all get along.
