I hate to say it, but I think they have a lot of fun at times. For one thing, most fundamentalists stick together, and plan picnics and camping and sports and wholesome sorts of entertainments a lot to keep the kids and young people from straying. Also, they have a lot of singles activities to get them to marry each other instead of going outside the circle. So don't assume they don't have fun, just because they disapprove of almost everything you have fun doing.
Doesn't make me want to join them, of course, but it might if I was half my age. I just never could get into being that much of a hypocrite.

It's a total blast to have a monopoly on the truth; better still when you get to tell everyone what to do because you care for their salvation (based on your concepts only of course). And praise Jebus, the current president/dick-tator will pass laws to help you out!
Oh the joys of bashing all the deluded ones who don't understand the obvious concept of a gaseous vertebrate giving all authority to religious officials.

I would imagine living in a dreamworld and being able to spout all sorts of inane things and expect people to believe you would be pretty fun. For example, taking Holy Books like the Bible and the Qur'an and plucking verses to suit your needs, without paying the least amount of attention to the actual context sounds pretty fun.
It would be like being crazy without the confusion. You could just do whatever whacko thing you liked, and expect to be taken seriously. You could even get angry for no good reason when someone refused to take you seriously. It sounds like a wonderful life!

Making people who DON'T think the same way they do, miserable, either by reporting them or, and, or by forcing their opinions into the public schools, and into our government.
And by entertaining us with their way out ideas on earth age, (6000 years) and '''' the no dinosaurs''' routine.

One thing is watching people like you. You can ask the most intelligent questions, and occasionally have thoughtful answers. But often you really screw yourself into the ground. Its kinda like you have some intermittent disconnect or something.
