Atheists: Have you read Vedanta?

Question

Did you know that there is a path of thinking (not a religion, but a 'path of thinking') that proclaims that true spirituality is a search to the knowledge of the soul - above all that any religion tells you?

Did you know that you are a perfectly correct stream of thought which is better that being sheep that follow a master proclaimed by common thought?

The above chain of thinking is Vedanta. Vedanta is a way of life - not a religion, per se. Would you take some time out to google out what Vedanta means?

To those who say "Souls do not exist":
WHY don't you probe further till you can prove your hypothesis to yourself.

To the materialists: Did you know that Vedanta also says that if you think of wealth, talk of wealth and dream of nothing but wealth, wealth will come to you automatically !!

I'm not trying to be some sort of great-man here. Only that I found something that seemed right. I want you to look at it too.

Vedanta may have stemmed from Hinduism - but it is beyond religious pedagogy. Even Buddhism, Christianity, Sihkism and all religions sprang out of Hinduism - accept it or not. But that's a different topic.

Vedanta is school of thoughts derived from Vedas. It talk about the way to get liberate from this cycles of birth & Death.

The main books who teach Vedanta philosophy is Upanishads, Bhagavat Gita & BrahamSutras.

Main principles are Body is non existent thing, Self is the true existence.

Yes, I have. I was heavily into Advaita Vedanta for a bit. Then I decided that it didn't really make sense.

I pretty much did that and found I was an atheist. It's where I'm comfortable at and feel at peace. I do not need to "search" anymore. But thank you.
