maximum of what you describe is the Chaldean faith which grew to become into accompanied via the Roman catholic church hundreds of years in the past. Hell isn't a place which you circulate to once you die. the only place we circulate as quickly as we die is the grave and NO the place else. The lake of hearth grew to become into created for devil and his angels and he and that they and all of their followers would be solid into it. So, it incredibly is what's going to take place. it is going to Rain hearth and brimstone from heaven, the entire crust of the the earth will grow to be one vast molten mass, the water will evaporate and then alongside with the ambience would be burned up. there will be no longer something left while the hearth finely dies out. After each thing has been destroyed and fed on via the cleansing hearth it is while God will recreate this international purely like it grew to become into interior the commencing up and God will wipe away each and all the tears, meaning that neither He nor we are able to bear in mind something approximately this life or the destruction of the depraved, all we are able to bear in mind is what sin is and not something approximately it. If somebody you already know did no longer make it to heaven, then after the cleansing you will no longer bear in mind them nor something approximately them. it's going to be as though they under no circumstances existed. it incredibly is named the 2d demise interior the Scripture.

Orthodox Jews follow the injunction of the Torah not to deface the name of God, and thus avoid writing it out, lest some day the paper or other surface it is written on be defaced. Interestingly, Jews are not prohibited from writing the name of God, but pious ones avoid doing so for the reason given above.
There is no prohibition in the Torah against pronouncing the name of God orally.

For some it is a form of utmost respect. If it was written completely out and the paper was trashed; It would be seen as disregarding The Most High. The same is true on-line since it has the chance of being deleted. This is not my belief but I do respect it. In post from or that I know adherents we view, I will use G-d to show respect for their faith.

Original language had no vowels. So God would of been written as Gd. Even though the title "god" was invented so people didn't have to say the actual name of God. Which is YHWH or as some prefer, YHVH.
Its a sign of respect to type G_D w/o the vowel. Same reason we are taught to tip our hats when saying hello, why we take them off inside of buildings or during prayer or pledge of allegiance. Why we call people Mr. Mrs and Ms.
Its all about respect.

In ancient Hebrew, words were written with consonants only, no vowels, so the original pronunciation of the name of the Jewish (hence Christian and Muslim) God is now unknown -- it could have been Jehova, or Johuwa, or anything else with the given consonants. This ties in well with the mythological motif of harmful sensation, and as a result certain Hebrew traditions state that it is somehow dangerous (or later, simply disrespectful) to utter the "true name of God." The rendering of "God" as "G-d" is an attempt to transliterate this practice into English.

Devout Jewish persons spell the name of God that way so as to not bring disrespect to the true God. To me it is a good way to tell who is Jewish. Just like real Muslims will use P.B.U.H. meaning "peace be unto him" when speaking of the prophet Muhammad. It is also interesting to note when folks fail to capitalize God, they are not very religious and have no respect for God.

On some websites, religious words are not allowed and the person will be kicked off that particular website for using the full spelling. They get into the habit and don't realize it is okay to type GOD on Yahoo!

I personally think it's just the person. Some people spell out their words and some don't. Like the ones who use PPL for people, or IDN for I don't know. I always just write God. Maybe one of them will write in and we'll all know. Let's hear it people. Why do you do that?

G'day folks!
Is it just our translation or should they spell the other versions like J-ah A-ah Mc-alds and such?
Maybe they prefer to keep the mystery in the centre, or maybe there is nothing in the middle?

Because some people believe that using God's name in converation is taking it in vain, that it should only be used when praying or offering praise.
