You said, "If you look at scripture carefully, things just don't come together." I'm confused. Are you talking about Mormonism being a false teaching, because in that case, yes - I believe it's a false religion. They don't believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for their sins. Now, the Holy Bible, not the Mormon Bible - I believe that everything does come together... ? You're absolutely right about God not needing a prophet when we as Christians have the Holy Spirit... but, back in the day... before the days of the Holy Spirit (before Christ) - it was necessary to use people to speak on God's behalf... like prophets. Today, we have the assuring guidance of the Holy Spirit to convict us, speak to us... etc.

Religion is a perspective on the beginning, the end, and the way we should live. When shared with others it becomes a mechanism for controlling those around you "guiding the flock" in the direction that the Shepard wants them to go. Sometimes the Shepard is a wolf and he seeks to use his flock to make himself fat. Many religious persons and many other persons use people in this way. False teachings hmmm maybe they just take better drugs then Moses or perhaps moses felt unworthy to stare into the eyes of GOD. When persons decide to follow or are forced into following a Shepard they are at the mercy of whether or not that Shepard wishes to lift them up or terr them down intentionally or unintentionally by teaching the so-called words of GOD(S).
On further viewing of your question ... would you feel the Mormons spoke the word of God as Truth if only one of them could see the back of God or if only one of them spoke out "I am God and only through me shall you be saved."? Maybe the Mormons are wolves or maybe like so many cultures throughout history they see GOD(S) through many eyes and in many ways.

the biggest fake coaching is that sunday is the sabbath which many of the international now believes, that may not what God has pronounced. Re 12:9 And the super dragon became into forged out, that previous serpent, pronounced as the devil, and devil, which deceiveth the finished international: all of us understand for particular that Saturday is the seventh day of the week because of the fact a sparkling record has been preserved by making use of the two historic Christianity and the Jews. After the destruction of the Jerusalem Temple interior the 1st century A. D., the Jews left the holy land and settled in lands everywhere in the popular international. everywhere they have been discovered, they have been discovered watching the comparable weekly cycle. it is achieveable that one Jew ought to rouse one Saturday morning and think of it is Friday, whether it is on no account available that an entire united states of america scattered around the globe could make that mistake. So, for sure, there is not any doubt in any respect as to which day is the seventh and it is the 1st. Time has no longer been misplaced! to boot, all of us understand from the writings of the earliest church fathers that there became right into a sparkling distinction between Saturday and Sunday. some Christians reported the two days, acknowledging that the former became into the advent Sabbath, or seventh day of the week, the day each and every of the Jews reported. Sunday became into pronounced as the "first day" and additionally popular because of the fact the "8th day," because of the fact it became into the day after the seventh day, or weekly Sabbath. it is genuine that in the time of Europe there has been an attempt to make Monday the 1st day of the week, yet our calendar nonetheless has Sunday because of the fact the 1st day of the week. Monday is considered the 1st day of the artwork week, yet no longer the 1st day of the traditional calendar week.

Like many other Christian denominations (specifically the Orthodox and Eastern Catholic branches of Christianity), Mormons do believe in "theosis," the idea that man can progress to become more like God. Historically, this concept was had among the earliest Christians.
Mormons believe in the Bible, which teaches: "To him that overcometh will I [Christ] grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne." So we believe that we can become like God through the power of Christ, but not that we will ever be greater than God. We will always worship God the Father and Christ the Son. To use traditional Christian terminology (and not terminology that only Mormons understand), it would probably be more accurate to say that Mormons believe they can become angels in the next life (although that phrasing doesn't exactly capture Mormon belief either, and is explicitly inaccurate if one uses the Mormon definition of "angel"). It is not true that Mormons believe men and women can progress to become equal to God. We will always worship God.
Additionally, you are incorrect when you say that Moses did not see the face of God. Actually, the Bible explicitly says he did see the face of God. "And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle." (Exodus 33:11)

Greif. Even the christians cannot agree with each other.
So how much more confusion does the world have endure before all realise that the bible is only a book and it is the spirit in us all that matters. So let each one concentrate on this.
And this can be applied to each and every religion.

I agree with you about the prophet. But God didn't create angels to be like him, angels are not free willed agents God only created man in that way (Like Him) Lucifer wanted to like God, he wanted to take over from God the Most High. God created man in his own image and likeness, but man is of the man kind and God is of the God kind..

Did you forget to read Genesis 3 to the end? According to God, Satan didn't lie when he told Eve that "...you will be like God, knowing good and evil." God even said in verse 22 after Adam and Eve had taken the fruit that "...The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil..." Interesting enough that verse also clears up another one of your questions - isn't it interesting that God refers to himself as US? Meaning a plurality? Meaning there was atleast one other God with him at the time?
Also, God spoke to Moses face to face multiple times! We are told in Amos 3: 7
"Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets."
Not only that but Paul specifically told us that we would need prophets until we all came to a "UNITY OF FAITH" in Ephesians 4:"
11"So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers,
12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up
13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming."
Since you obviously dont believe in my faith, and I in yours, then we obviously dont have a unity of faith (if you dont still dont believe that, just ask Muslims if they believe Christ is the path to their salvation) and therefore, as Paul said, we need apostles and prophets to guide us.
Hence, since you aren't following a prophet, God is "doing nothing"(amos 3:7) for you and you are being "tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming."(Ephesians 4:14)
Im sure glad I believe in a prophet!

Yes Mormonism is a false teaching. There is so much more to it that isn't true. Try to find books and dvd's from former Mormon church members. They'll tell the truth about the "religion".
