Of course, I think everyone has had a time when they refuse to listen to God. Even Moses didn't want to do what God told him to do... but in the end - he did. I think I would if God spoke to me through a burning bush... and I was able to witness some of the things Moses did. However, sometimes when God tells me to pray for someone... I'm like... nah, that's just my head. If I don't want to do something and I feel like I should, I definitely know it's God. However, just ask for forgiveness and try again the next time. There will always be other times.

Yes, I did often, when I thought God wanted me to do this or that and I argued back, and hedged around ,because I was afraid I would make a fool of myself.
When I learned that I have the Holy Spirit living within me, and that He empowers me to do what God wants me to do, then I changed my attitude. My motto became, "Whatever God tells me to do, the Holy Spirit will help me to do" and I learned to step out in obedience.
Sometimes we wonder if what we think we should do is really the voice of God, or just our imagination, or some guilt urges. I have learned to check what I feel urged to do with God's Word, and if it doesn't say anything contrary then I do it.
Obeying God also risks failure. And if we fail, we still have learned discernment.

ask for forgiveness because alot of people don't do what would be best for there souls....because we try to put it aside and kinda ignore the voice but then after while you look at it and realize that if you would have listened you would have been blessed in the end and all you really do is wait for the voice of GOD and this time he tells you to do something you do it plain and simple tust me I have A problem wth that too and it's not fun watching everyone else get blessings and you don't because you were being disobedient but it's just life lesson that we have to learn

I am not named Christina, but I refuse directions all the time. No problem there. Just do what your heart tells you is right. THAT is God at work.

My name is not Christina, and I'm also not Christian, but I still believe God.
The God can be very adamant when He speaks to you. And don't make me go there with the Goddess! My patron Goddess is Lilith (a dark Goddess, meaning it is a fallacy to think She's always in a great mood) and She demands that you do what She asks. When I don't, I always regret it.

Silver certainly has it right and the other important point is;
GOD will not ask you to do something that you are incapable of doing [or of GOD doing in you].
but remember -everything we do, or become, whether we see it clearly or not,we need GOD.
Philippians 4:13 " I can do all things through CHRIST which strengthens me."

well to make it right, you can ALWAYS ask for forgiveness.
learn from yr mistakes.
and listen to God.
we all go through those times, where we want to say no. becaseu we might be afraid, lazy, or just dont think we can do it.
but through Christ we can always do it.
He is our shephard, to protect us and to guide us.
just do what He asks of you,
and He will bless you.
i love getting into these things and srpeading the love of God.,
just remeber, He is a mercyful God.

You really can't make it right... You can only be made aware that mankind needs help, regardless of our personal resolve. You continue to try your best, and ask forgiveness.
"I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature."
