Mime ministry? Aren't Christian evangelists annoying enough without putting mime's into the mix?

The most inexpensive way to find many of the items that you could use for yourself and the other members you are working with is to go to your local thrift shops, either community based or Salvation Army or Goodwill.
We have a local community based thrift store in our area that is non-profit and all of the funds they receive go toward helping people in the community pay for heat and electric and even rent when they are having a difficult time. The people that run this organization are very happy to look for requested items for local school and church organizations and will hold things aside for us when they find them.
You could also check with some of your local play groups, especially if you have a larger theatrical group in your area. A lot of larger theaters have many costume choices and will be happy to lend them out to your group.
Please don't listen to the mean spirited, or actually non-spiritual answers you may receive on here, this can be an exciting and valuable ministry for many churches.
