Everyone has a soul. That soul was breathed into us, so to speak, by God's own breath, which means that our souls are an actual part of God.

Therefore we are never separated from God, we are already there. It's just realising that that's the problem for most people. Especially those brought up in the Christian tradition that teaches that we are separate from God.

So sometimes we need to find the teaching from one path or another that helps to wake us up to that. It doesn't lead us TO God, since we already have God right here, but it helps us open our eyes and remember what's right here and ours all along.

What happens when people realise they are not separated from God, and that God has been right there within their own souls all this time? The reactions are as many as there are people. It's interesting to see the long term differences it makes though. For some its a great insight and they find peace in their lives and minds, and for some its a great insight that fades over time and they go back to being however they were before. Etc. etc. etc. lots of different reactions.

Not all paths will take you to God....not the God of the Bible. Most will take you to the god of this world, the devil, which will end up in the Lake of Fire. To get to God, we must go through the narrow gate. The path to destruction is wide. We will have an eternal life, but it will either be with Jesus, or in the Lake of Fire. It is our choice, and a free choice. Heaven-accept Jesus as Lord. Lake of Fire- the wrong choice, or doing nothing.

I think that if you believe in God and your path is one of righteousness that leads to Him you can never be separated from Him. I don't know what would make you think otherwise. Receiving eternal life is God's gift to you for keeping your eye on the prize. The prize is eternal life with Him!

Absolutely NOT. The path of learning [being educated] changes the falsehoods to the truth.

No eternal life, no gods, no eternity in some non-descript cloud.

I think you have to make an effort in knowing God and becoming a good person to actually be on the right path. That path will lead you to your destiny if you keep true to Him. Not many people actually succeed in this though, that's why many people aren't living the way they wish they were (not so much material wise, but mentally).

I have found The Way, and I will trust no other bridge across the "great divide"!

I know Jesus is the way, because He said so, and God cannot lie.

He conquered death and the grave, and His empty tomb is still there, and still empty, for all to see, in the Holy land. Who else can match His authority on eternal life?

I will not presume to know that other broad paths do not reach heaven; but I see one that does, and I advise all to take the "narrow way" of Christ, that we KNOW s the "Way"!

yes, I believe all paths lead to God. Once you get to God, obviously I dont think it would be eternal separation from God. That would be like saying all paths lead to separation from God, it wouldnt lead to God to be separated.
I personally believe we can reach God during this life, we dont have to wait until an "after-life", thus figures like Buddha, Jesus, Muhammad, etc. Very few individuals ever will, but it is possible. it is reaching enlightenment. Once you reach enlightenment, you are complete love, surrounded in, one with, etc.etc.
Edit: God is within, most dont realize this, but by realizing it and accepting it, you can reach enlightenment. God is love, so it is opening yourself up to love. Ultimate, pure love is enlightenment.

No, not all paths. A great many paths lead away from God. I do believe that if you seek God then your path is unimportant. Once you find Him, you become one with Him.

Just for arguments sake...

Eternal life doing what? Wouldn't that get boring after a few decades? A couple of centuries and you will be begging for something different.

Something to think about.

Not all religious paths lead to eternal life in God's kingdom.
