God doesn't block Satan in the real world. Satan is free to go around and do his dirty work and we all have free will so why would He block him here?
Edit: LOL, I swear I did not copy your answer Nightwind. I did not see it until after I had submitted my own. Evidently we are thinking alike :-)

According to Judeo-Christian theology God clearly doesn't block Satan in real life, so why would he block him here?

He would beat satan, a good ol'fashion smackdown...
I love how people think God needs to defeat "satan", as if satan wasnt being defeated, God would be. If your God isnt strong enough to stand on his own, he isnt a God worth worshipping

No. In the old testament, don't forget that Satan was actually on God's payroll and "Temptor of men". I think that was his official title in the beginning.

There is no Satan. He's already been blocked from existence.

No way- He would arrange a Yahoo "intervention" and have us all talk to Satan until he agreed to change his ways...

I guess God blocks devil.... yet I guess devil would not block God. devil is happy together with his offensiveness, he'd desire God to verify all of his blaspheming questions and solutions. i think of it is too undesirable that Grendel blocks me. He could be so deliciously obnoxious sometimes.

I think the press overplays the level of their mutual animosity. No, they would be part of each other's network of friends. They have to keep track of the questions either is asking or answering.
