I have an M&S Potato Gratin in the freezer which I had forgotten about. The instructions say you should freeze on day of purchase and consume within 1 month and the use by date is 10 Nov. As it's now 15th Dec, a month has already expired - is it still ok to use and eat?

It is still O.K. to eat it.

It'll be fine if you want to use it at Christmas. Side dishes will keep 3-4 months in the freezer, if well-wrapped.

Should be fine so long as it's been continually frozen. It's not as if the dish suddenly went "off" on the 10th December. I'm sure there's a bit of leaway on frozen food.

The quality may be a bit diminished, but it should still be OK. It will be safe.
