where are deer during the day?

i live in missouri and there are deer all over the place towards sunset and night but where are they during the morning and afternoon?

The deer find hidden places like under a bush or in a draw and places that are off the beaten track. They lie down in those places so there is very little of their bodies to be seen then they come out in the evening to feed.

They are not moving if it's hot and if it's a bit cold they will be out at night. I live in Nebraska. At night you'll see doe and bucks jump the road when it's cold but not when's it's hot. You'll see them in packs huddled together because there cold.
