Next Saturday I shall attend a Solstice Festival. There will be food, music, drink (alchohol allowed for those with designated drivers only), caroll singing, gift exchanges and conversation. After Dinner there will be an Asatru ritual and probably a drumming circle. Money will be raised for a charity, 100 % of which will go a needy person directly.

Have a fire - that's a big thing there. Give offerings to deities honored this time of year. Spend time with family and friends and have a huge feast. Give gifts. Decorate the Yule Tree and the Yule Log.

I have pagan friends who celebrate the Saturnalia. It's basically eat, drink, and be merry, which I'm always down with.
