The train service is suspended (probably due to weekend track repairs) and a replacement bus service will operate between the points where the train is suspended.

Effectively it means that you get on a bus at the Stratford upon Avon railway station, and it will take you to connect with the train at Leamington Spa railway station. The train will be waiting for the passengers coming off the bus.

The bus follows the train schedule, but the journey usually takes a little longer than the direct train journey.

This is a fairly common arrangement when the rail system is being repaired at weekends.

It means a Bus which is paid for by the Rail Company that will transport you from the Station to next station that the trains start up from again due to a number of factors.
It does mean extra time to complete your journey, but this will be factored into the timetable and a train will wait at the Bus termination point unless seriously delayed.
I have fun tonight when I am at work seting up our station to cater for a replacement Bus as well as doing all my other normal duties.

For some reason there is no train service between two stations, so you take a bus from one station to the next. which usually calls at intermediate stations along the way.

Train lines being worked on, so they lay on a bus for you around the works.

i.e. You pay train rates for a bus ride!

Engineering works will close the line so a bus is put on to take you to your destination by road. Yes, it goes to the station. Don't sweat it, it happens somewhere every Sunday!!

The buses are supplied, they take you from one station to the other. They use them when they are working on the line.
