Free Will??? You mean SELF-WILL?? Either way, do you really think the POT molds itself??
Remember the line from the Matrix 2nd one, the gigalo program that owned the restaurant says, "CHOICE IS AN ELUSION".
If you will study the scriptures and ADROIT ELUSION you may understand what is goin' on.
If your 4 year old child brought you a drawing they had tried hard on, would you tell them how great it is or how stupid it looks and tell them you are expecting something like Michael Angelo's painting or something. You would LIE to them, or rather, use ADROIT ELUSION to help encourage them to do better and better, etc. You would tell them it is great! This is how the Scriptures are written, on an adroit elusion basis that can meet the reader where they are at in their development. One that remains SELF WILLED, NEVER understands the Soverignty of Yahweh, his absolute control, and therefore can never truly worship Him with all their heart.
Actually, Yahweh simply didn't make that pot to be a vessel of honor. There is no need to concern themself with what 'heaven' is like. They ain't goin'!

The Bible describes Heaven in great detail in Revelation chapters 21-22. Nowhere in those chapters is the possibility of sin mentioned. There will be no more death, sorrow, crying, or pain (Revelation 21:4). The sinful are not in Heaven, but the lake of fire (Revelation 21:8). Nothing impure will ever enter Heaven (Revelation 21:27). Outside of Heaven are those who sin (Revelation 22:15). So, the answer is no, there will be no sin in Heaven.
What does that mean for us? If there is no possibility of sin, does that means we will no longer have a free will in Heaven? It seems that in Heaven, or ability to choose will be similar to that of the angels. The angels had a one-time choice to obey God or follow Satan. There is no possibility of further angels sinning and joining Satan in his rebellion. The holy angels are "elect angels" (1 Timothy 5:21). Similar, the elect in Heaven will be "sealed" in their decision to forsake sin and trust in Christ. We will not even have the choice to sin. At the same time, having been delivered from sin and evil, and viewing the wonderful glories of Heaven, we would not choose sin even if we had the choice.

The concept of "free will" is grossly misconstrued in the West. The concept of "free will" would mean that one has no constraint on ones actions, and that is silly. The simple restraint of gravity restricts many of our desires.
The question should be what is "will", or ones ability to think or to reason, and where does it come from?
God is an Absolute, and thus, Truth and full Knowledge. Now, when ones Soul has explored and experienced all that there is to Know on the physical plane, and ones Apapsyche has recorded all this as ones Spiritual Perfection, what is the difference in ones Will from that of God? Achieving Perfection is not a loss of ones "free will" [which in point of fact one never really had], it is a reaching that point where the Will of God is ones own Will.
Our "thinking" cannot perceive of anything beyond the physical plane except in the abstract: God, heaven, hell, good, bad, truth, etc. Life is a matter of transferring the questions of ones brain into experiential answers worked out via ones Karma within ones MIND... which is then transferred to ones Apapsyche [Operational Energy of ones Soul] as Knowledge. This Knowledge is cumulative, and each "bit" of Knowledge represents a rise in ones Spiritual evolution.
Toward the end of this "process" one automatically begins to open to the idea of God, and one begins to realize that this plane is not ones home. One then one begins to seek the means of finding the way to go Home.
In the East, it is said that when the Chela is "ready", the Master appears.
The meaning of "faith" is that one has achieved sufficient elevation of ones Apapsyche to "believe" that one is a Soul, and that there is a place where one will not feel out of place. The "process" does exist, and each of us is moving kicking and screaming toward a release from pain and suffering, but few can believe the goal exists... given what they experience while moving towards it.
Peace

This is one of my biggest problems and one of the things that makes heaven seem very boring to me.
Assuming most of the things I like to do (read fantasy books, see Rated R movies, enjoy some of the less savory entertainments of humanity I won't go into in detail) is all sin. Then what exactly am I going to do in heaven when its all "washed away"'?
Will I be changed into something that doesn't mind praising the Lord 24/7? Will I suddenly become someone who finds streets of gold impressive? What if I like animals and trees (actually it does mention trees in the Bible).
As a creature of "Free Will" the idea of having it all stripped away and, in essense, the person I am being destroyed, is very unappetizing to me.
Of course, like most humans, I think that what I want and what my idea of what heaven should be like is important.
It can be argued, that just like the choice, itself, that we are trying to apply human characteristics to God and force what we want or what we see as "fairness" on Him.
But we aren't God.

"So when you die and go to heaven you become perfect"
- Become perfect? How about YOU WERE ALWAYS HIS? You have a paradigm of a dividing line of death, that you need to get rid of. If God has loved you from before the foundations of the world were laid, called you, saved you, kept you, and will bring you to eternal life, is He not just continuing His will?

Free will gives the person the ability to choose right from wrong, good from bad, etc. etc. In Heaven our will will always be right. The wrong will not be considered because we will know that wrongful things is fallacy, no good, and profits nothing. Right now, on earth, we have the free will to steal things or not to steal things. In Heaven we will know that stealing is wrong and not even consider doing the wrong thing. Satan will not be in Heaven to tempt us to do the wrong, sinful, things. I see nothing bad about that.

No. You have free will in heaven as well. So do those who are resurrected to life on the Paradise earth.
The angels have free will. That's why some of them were able to become Satan and the demons.

No, one cannot go into the state of heaven( total union with God) without free will exercised in cooperating with grace so that all ungodly is purged by grace

You need to remember that down here, is also temptation. That is where our free will takes a beating. Up in heaven, there is no temptation and no evil influence. Even time will be different.

I just don't believe that we can think that high! The life we live on earth is not comparable to the life we'll live in heaven.
