If the truth can not be found in the KJV, it can not be found in any thing.
I have been a student of the KJV for 44 years, I have not found a mistake that when all is organized together [ as the genealogy of Jesus ], that there is no
longer a mistake, the kind that can be in any book, organize all the kings together, their age at king, their time served, their life span and all is perfect.
Organize the 20 persons to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and the 12 tribes to generation four Exo.6:16-23,36; The Exodus time to Joshua croses Jordan,
the next 300 years, then Samuel at 450 after Exodus, and Solomon 480 yes in ye 4 after Moses dies. The bible fits into place perfect. SO WHAT IS THE BIBLE SAYING WHEN IT FITS INTO PLACE PERFECTLY.
Fron here people can make all kinds of wrong out of it. The bible is not wrong, people and religions are.

Hang on a sec while I wipe the tears of mirth from my eyes and wait until my ribs stop hurting from laughing so hard.
There. . .that's better.
Anyone who claims that the KJV is the "only" acceptable version of the Bible doesn't know enough about linguistics to fill a thimble. The meanings of many Jacobean words and terms have changed drastically over the years. Unless you are familiar with the changes in the English language since the time of King James, you are already at a serious disadvantage.
The second problem is that even if you do manage to make some sense out of Jacobean English, you're faced with the problem of translating a specific Greek or Hebrew term into a language that lacks their subtleties and nuances. Face it: English is about as subtle in some regards as a 21 gun salute. For example, the word that's translated as "love" in English may refer to any one of three different and sometimes unrelated concepts in Greek.
There are any number of translations available today which are more accurate than the KJV and avoid a lot of the problems associated with an archaic form of the language. The KJV is fun and familiar, but for serious study, it just doesn't hold up as the sole version to own.

Probably not for today. There is really nothing wrong with the KJV. Its just a little tough for most people to read. The NASB is much better, and the NIV is better yet-for the reading difficulty.
Jesus would recommend the easiest read that got the message across. The New Testament was originally recorded in Koine Greek-a common commercial language.

I use the KJV, but I really believe he would recommend you read any Bible that is His word. The world is in desperate need of Jesus, and what he would do, is what He has told us to do. Love one another, follow His Commandments, and get His word out to all the world. Have a very Merry Christmas, may it be filled with Happiness, Health, Wealth beyond your wildest dreams, and remember to pray for our troops, and light a candle for those who can't be with us. There were only two who have give the ultimate gift of life. The first and foremost was Jesus who brought us Salvation, and life everlasting, if we reciece Him as our Lord and Savior. The second was the Veteran. Let's never forget either. God Bless!

The translaters of the King James Bible said that any Bible translation that tries to be accurate is still the word of God.
I find it ironic that alot of the the Christians who insit on nothing but the KJV - go to denominations which would have have comdemend them as heritics royalist and in enral sell outs for not using the Geneva bible17th century.

The KJV translation of the Bible is an EXCELLENT translation, but not the ONLY excellent translation.
The New Testament was translated from the Textus Receptus (Received Text) series of the Greek texts.
The Old Testament was translated from the Masoretic Hebrew text.

Mormons are Christian. the only requirement for Christianity is a perception in Christ, and Mormons honestly have self assurance in Christ. She would possibly not share your perspectives, yet that doesn't make her any much less a Christian. have you ever study the e book of Mormon? in case you have not, how could you recognize no remember if or not it extremely is what she claims? study it first, then choose in case you're able to. do not purely blindly pay attention to what others assist you recognize, as a results of fact shouldn't you be trusting your pal first? we've not replaced the Bible. We use the King James version, this is utilized by using maximum, if not all, branches of Christianity. we've not even replaced a comma. The Bible certainly does not say that God became into in no way a guy. we don't have self assurance that Christ is 2nd to all of us or something yet God. We additionally understand we will not earn our thank you to heaven, yet we don't have self assurance that somebody can in simple terms declare to have faith, do regardless of they decide on and nevertheless anticipate salvation, the two. people who've honestly everyday Christ would be doing their terrific to stay as He has asked, and did not Christ Himself say that if we adore Him, we will shop His commandments? We have self assurance that Christ expects us to objective our toughest to obey Him and then repent as quickly as we fail, and in return, he will make up the variation. Salvation isn't attainable without Him, and how does that make Him of lesser value? No offense, yet i'm thinking why you experience the could instruct your pal incorrect in any respect. Judging others won't be Christian habit besides, and might you incredibly evaluate your self a first rate pal in case you will not supply her the courtesy of permitting her to worship as she chooses? If she's not hurting all of us, if she's not asking you to transform, is it extremely your place? dialogue is one element and might additionally be constructive, yet you seem trusting to what you have study on the internet and not trusting your pal to describe her very own ideals.

One can learn the "truth" from any version of the Bible, if that one allows the Bible to interpret and explain itself
