If I was to flood the boards with messages like that, I shouldn't be banned?
Banning is a very useful tool at times. Some people like to cause problems- not build up a virtual community- trolls should be banned as well.
I don't know of any other reasons a people would be banned.
**Edit**
Why are top contributors banned? I'm confused (obviously lol)

That points and levels are worth the money we paid for them was determined long long ago. We're known by our reputations and our comments - not the meaningless numbers that grow next to them.
