NO. It has to do mostly with 2 facts.
1. how you act towards others. This will send teh signal out to nice guys that you are a nice girl and not one to be played with.

2. and this is the most important, you must be in the places where nice guys flock to. Can anyone spell c h a r i t y e v e n t s or c h a r i t y g r o u p s?

Be the same as you were. I lived at a shelter for 6 months, while there were others there in basically the same boat, I didn't share their problems. Nothing says you can't stand up and be yourself. The attraction is because you allow it.

I found that I was down and out because I was already hanging out with the wrong people. Once I figure out that I can remove myself and bang it all starts to get better.

yes i do. when i have an attitude i draw the attention of ugly people. they are the ones that are only focused on one thing. ya know. so make an attempt be in a great mood.
