The commercial flights of any kind were a figment of the imagination in 1907.

For average overseas flights, ie those flying between continents, they mostly use Boeing 747, 767 or Airbus A380 which seat from over 200 to 500 passengers. Sometimes the flights are full or at times only half filled. There doesn't seem to be an exact number to your question because there are too many airlines in the world to come up with an average, if that is what you're looking for. That list is a passengers manifest.
