What kind of lens do they use to take The Dog photos?

I am wondering what kind of lens they use to take The Dog photos. I'm sure they edit the photos to make them more adorable, but what lens/or techniques could I use to achieve a similar result? For reference, this is The Dog website http://www.thedog-clubs.com/home.html

They just use a very wide angle lens!

Fish eye and up close to distort the features.

It's a very wide angle..........

A fisheye lens, about 8mm.
