Alright, this may sound weird but trust me it works. At the end of the night eat a peanut butter sandwich and drink a big glass of milk. In the morning you wont feel a thing!

Sadly, there is no actual cure or prevention for a hangover (other than not drink.. which we don't won't to do) but there are some steps you can take to limit the effects of said hangover.

1. Drink lots of water, alcohol dehydrates your body. Avoid sports and energy drinks, they can increase the urination and dehydrate you more.

2. Each a high carb meal, limit the grease. Alcohol and grease don't mix. Want proof? Fry up some bacon, pour the grease into a bowl and add you alcohol of choice. It isn't a pretty sight.

2.1. Eat a banana, potato or take a multi-vitamin. Something with potassium in it.

2.2. Take a B complex vitamin. Both of the last two are ripped from you body while drinking.

3. Don't worry about mixing alcohol, everything actually contain the exact same thing... ethanol alcohol. Doesn't matter if it is beer, wine or liquor. Just don't mix fruit and milky.

4. Before bed take two more large glasses of water and two Advil or Motrin, NOT ASPIRIN. Aspirin and alcohol will destroy your liver.

You can only prevent a hangover by drinking in moderation. Drinking more water etc may help curb the hangover, but if you drink too much you are going to get one regardless.

I would take a couple Advil before you start drinking..eat a good meal too before drinking liquor.....It is not wise to mix you liquor with diet coke....the sugar (aspartame) will probably get you sick to your stomach at the end of the drinking. Drink water in between drinks . Take more Advil before going to bed if you can keep it down. Good Luck.

The best way is to alternate drinks with water. Part of the reason hangovers occur is because your body is dehydrated. By drinking plenty of water, this problem is alleviated.

A lot of people say Gatorade, but that has too much sugar.... My trick for waking up clear headed is to chug Pedialyte right before going to bed (the stuff that you give kids with diarrhea). Super Electrolytes = Mega Hydration!!

This has always worked for me take a couple of tylenol and a multi vitamin followed with a glass of OJ. When drink you release alot of the bodies natural vitamins that help digest and filter the booze so by replacing them you allow your body repair help.

Drink water, make sure you EAT something.

And what always works for me is a glass of water and two aspirin or Tylenol before bed.

Also, make sure you get plenty of sleep.
