Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness leads you toward repentance?
5But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed.

Acts 26:18
to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.'

No, sin is separation from GOD. We must love the sinner but hate the sin.

Judging is for GOD it is the Christians duty to ask question and test the spirits. Tolerance has nothing to do with judging but it does help us to be understanding caring and loving. The Light (Jesus our Lord) has nothing in common with darkness (sin in the world). We as Christians use the word to divide dark from light.

The Bible syas that we should Not Judge based upon apperance and carnal qualities, Jesus in scriputre critizied the Apsoltes for judging one another (Luke 6:37). However in John 7:24 he says "Judge not according too to the appearence, But judge righteous Judgment. This means that there is absolutly NO bounds for the christian too have too tolerate sin. if someone lies or steals and comitts adulter the Christna can make a moral righteous Judgement, and inform the perosn or persons that God wil have a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness, and that there actions will have eternal consequences. Chuck Colson once stated- " True tolernace is not a total lack of Judgement, it's knwing what should be tolerated- and refusing too toleratre that which shouldnt.
Gods Commandments are Holy and if we have broken those commandments whether it be a lie or stealing or lustin and using Gods name in vain, we know that these actions will reap eternal consequences. the Bible says the penalty of sin is death (hell). But that Christ when he cam and died payed the penalty of our sin that we might be forgvien and have the gift of eternal life. we recive tis gift by confessing and forsaking and fully turning from our sin and truating in Christ alone too save us. have you? if Not you can recive that forgvines and have a lasting and eternal relationship with Christ today.

Christian should have a tolerance for the sinner not for sin..That's what God does...Because none of us are perfect.."Let the one who is without sin cast the first stone"...There are times when we all miss it, we stumble, we fall, but we must get up and keep on pushing, make perfection your goal..

Christians think they are sin. Or sin filled. Sinning on a regular basis and needing forgiveness,etc.etc. Therefore, I would think that they are not suppoed to have a tolerance for sin, but they probably understand it better than anyone else and have a high tolerance for guilt.

Yes.

... as long as you are a non-Christian and by showing this "tolerance", they can get you to convert to Christianity. That's one of the marketing tactics.

We aren't supposed to tolerate sin in our own lives.

We aren't supposed to judge sin in anyone else's.
