i am that way especially now that i am a mom, dont have time for that, but the world to me seems the same. on a large scale though its probally bad lots of people would lose jobs...cosmetics companies, hair salons and many others

Humans are visual creatures...looks matter to some extent to both males and females. It does appear that women base attraction less on looks than men (in general) but I'm not sure what you're asking.
It's okay for looks to matter somewhat, as it's the "whole package" that most of us want...someone we find physically appealing AND who has a personality we enjoy and that complements our own.
How would the world be if no one cared about looks? It would be quite different as so much of our entertainment is based on what is perceieved to be attractive or appealing to look at...

Would I feel better if Women did not care if guys were ugly?? Nope! Make me feel worse.. Why would guys have any motivation to take care of themselves?? We are genetically disposed to be drawn to certian markers of the opposite sex to secure or genes and perpetuate..
Sorry your programmed to be drawn to a good looking, fit person with certian markers, if not, then thats an esteem issue...

The human animal is the only critter that the female tries to look better than they are. I do not see the point to this myself. It is a conspires by the million dollar beauty industry..

I bet alot of people would be alot more happy and there would be alot more couples out there. women need to look deep into a great guy and see the how great he is. alot of them dont look that deep. but some women do.
