X-ray Technologist. Only 2 yrs of school, good pay, and the opportunity to cross train into CT, MRI, or Angio Specials to make even more money. There is also an advanced level school for another couple of years known as the Radiologist Assitant. Lots of avenues for only a starting commitment of 2 yrs, seriously the money is awesome.

How about a physician's assistant? They can make $80k+ and it's not 4 years of med school, just a couple. Mine was a history major in college. You also could work in the lab, or as a phlebotomist, physical therapist, lots of things. Why NOT shoot for being a nurse or doc? You have to be intelligent for any health profession.

I am currently thinking about entering Athletic Training or Physical Therapy. Both are great health professions for men. They can both be very rewarding and if you enjoy athletics this can help you stay involved.

Psychiatry!!!!!!! You have the stress of medical school still, but you become a doctor. Residency is usually 50hrs/week for 4 years. But then the average psychiatrist makes $200,000 working 40hr/week with NO call.
