If you have cooked the chicken yourself and are certain that it does not contain too much salt. Pre-basted turkey and store-roasted chicken is injected with salt water to keep it moist these are NOT good for cats or dogs -- the excessive sodium can damage the kidneys.

Yes there is no harm in feeding your cats "Little" pieces of cooked chicken or turkey with NO bones.
Cats love chicken. I suggest you put it in with their cat food because when you start feeding this to them, they will not want the cat food. If you mix it in their food, they are still getting the treat and will still eat their meal.

My cat begs all the time for coldcuts - usually turkey. Whenever I cut one up for him in little pieces, he winds up gagging it up onto the floor. I decided after the last time that he doesn't know what's best for him and I won't give him any. He's a good cat and I love him, but his digestive system is accustomed to cat food. If you give your cat something he doesn't normally eat, be prepared to clean it up off the floor.

I got my previous cat when she was 5 weeks old from an older lady who couldn't take care of her. When she was old enough I would give her a half a can of her favorite canned food on special occasions and after she went to the vet. When she got over 4 years old though, she wouldn't take canned food anymore. She seemed to prefer a certain brand of dry food, but only two flavors. She would eat canned salmon and tuna, and on occasion some baked chicken. But there were times she wouldn't even eat those, just wanted her dry food. I would say she was picky but I caught her eating the dog's dry food a few times! I think sometimes a cat's taste buds change. I wouldn't worry, just try canned or baked fish and see if they go for it. I've never seen a hungry cat turn down tuna!

yes but if you cooked it than I would leave out the bones. If it's raw than the bones will be safe. Raw bones are excellnt for your cat's teeth.
