For Christmas I have asked for a digital camera. I really would like one that has the feature of taking pictures that are black and white, except that it can have a certain color that shows up as well. I've seen on commericals pictures of a girl holding a rose(the rose is red and the rest is in black and white). I would LOVE a camera that could do this. I just dont know the name or brand of any digital camera that could work. If anyone knows PLEASE tell me. Links would also be nice. Thank you so much!

Try the Pentax Optio T30, which has some built-in digital fiters.

It's almost certainly the software used to process the photos that creates this kind of image, not the camera itself. You can do it in Photoshop, or Photo Studio, or anything similar. Even in Picasa you can make a colour photo black-and-white.
Your camera should come with some software to process the photos, which may be able to do what you want. As for which camera, we've always chosen Canons - their quality is excellent and their colours superb.

it isnt the camera that does this but the photo shop you may have installed on your computer.just take the pic load it onto the photoshop and mess around with until u are pleased. good luck!
