Go and get checked for goodness sake. Usually it's caused by constipation and the bleeding by piles (especially if bright red blood). However it could be a sign of something worse - Collitus or Crohns disease, even cancer. All of these are curable so swallow your pride and get a test done. In the meantime take a mild laxative and some preperation H for your bottom if you won't go to A & E now. The best thing would be to ring NHS direct or log onto the website for advice xxx

You need medical attention. Usually bleeding from back passage is not a good thing. Are you UK?, if so ring NHS direct on 0845 4647. Tell them your symptoms, most people on here like myself are not qualified to answer this sort of question. If I was you I would ring NHS direct tonight, just to put my mind at rest if nothing else.

Good luck

Anyone who is in the agony in which you profess to be, doesn't take the time and energy to post on YA, that is unless they are just completely stupid! They would immediately call for an ambulance or some other emergency help.
