The Absolute is the totality of things. Why do we associate that with something finished, static? like absolute morals in religions? Even if one could know the absolute, why should that imply that one is finished or that one knows all, could the absloute not also mean that you realize that itself is in change?
So that there can never be any perfect understanding, never any end to reach.

Would that destroy the absolute?
or at least the absolute mentality that many religions especially embody.

I mean religions speak of the absolute, as something independent of the universe or "outside" of it. How can one have such an understanding and be sure that it is not an idea?

Sorry english is not my mother tounge?

Christians will spend their eternity's learning about God. There is too much to Him and His awesomeness has no end. And neither does any one human. But it will be spent apart from God and His awesomeness unless they accept Jesus as saviour and have forgiveness of their sins. This is the ONLY truth, the rest are rubbish and cults. Be careful.

Krishna says in Bhagavad gita:
"There is no truth superior to Me".
There is a common controversy over whether the Supreme Absolute Truth is personal or impersonal. As far as Bhagavad-gitä is concerned, the Absolute Truth is the Personality of Godhead, Sri Krishna, and this is confirmed in every step. In this verse, in particular, it is stressed that the Absolute Truth is a person. The Absolute Truth is both subject and object, and there is no qualitative difference there, is simultaneously one and different. Nothing is absolutely equal with the Absolute Truth, but at the same time, nothing is independent of the Absolute Truth. And the Absolute Truth is the spiritual whole. Since the complete whole or the Absolute Truth is the source of everything, nothing can be independent of the body of the Absolute Truth.
Perfect vision of the Absolute Truth is possible only by the linking process of devotional service. This is also confirmed in the Bhagavad-gitä. One can perfectly realize the Absolute Truth Personality of Godhead only by the process of devotional service, and one can enter into the kingdom of God by such perfect knowledge.
Si Senor, esa es la completa verdad. Gracias

I think this is a problem of sematics rather than philosophy. When I say that 1 + 1 = 2, I am telling you the truth --- and it will never be a half-truth.

Other people might get the gist of your question, but I must confess that I do not. Sorry.

An absolute can embody a develop technique. Take the existence cycle of a straightforward chicken. it extremely is an egg, then it extremely is a chick or hatchling, and finally will become an grownup chicken. in any respect cases for the period of the technique it is the particular breed of chicken, and extremely the of it being reported breed incorporates it being on the point it extremely is chanced on, those it is going to later grow to be, and those it grew to become into and is not. In different words, it extremely is mostly a sparrow, it would not commence being a sparrow whilst it flies away. extremely the incorporates the totality of it, and in case you extremely need to bypass deep, its "sparrowness" incorporates all of its progeny yet unborn. No, the actuality that maximum persons do not locate this worth questioning approximately sufficient to comprehend it does not propose that it is not so, it basically means that they don't are conscious of it this way. An Absolute is unaffected via the observer's comprehension, it in simple terms Is or isn't. i don't have faith that an absolute has to stay exterior of the Universe. i don't extremely think of something can, via definition. The Universe is "each little thing", and if one believes there to be some thing exterior of it, that basically evidences an overly slender view of the Universe. Take the assumption of ghosts. many don't have faith in them, some do, i in my view have not any opinion because of the fact that i haven't seen one, yet many declare to have. even inspite of the undeniable fact that, they don't look to be "supernatural", because of the fact in the event that they do exist, they are needless to say extremely organic, and element of Nature and the Universe. My own loss of information would not cause them to "supernatural" from now on than my loss of information of an inner combustion engine means autos are magical. i think of it extremely is advisable to seem into Taoism. It teaches one to settle for issues as they are, without requiring one to be waiting to totally clarify them, or end that there are mystical forces at artwork. One straightforward image modern in Taoism is a hand-drawn circle, this is something yet perfect. This symbolises the Tao, or each little thing this is, however the imperfection means that it ameliorations, and is hence not the comparable in any respect cases.

Dear lorenzo, while we do not know all things, there are certain things that exist that we have knowledge of that are absolutly true, for instance, one cannot exist and not exist at the same time, thats an example of an absolute truth. There are many religions, religion has been mans supreme way of seeking to discover truth and find a relationship with God. But The truth is that God is not trying too Hide, he has reveled himself as absolute creator, origin of absolute morals and everlasting. we can see his testimony through creation, the consceince and most profoundly through his son Jesus Christ. The BIble speaks of Gods Perfect and Holy standard (The Commandments) by which he will judge us wehn we do face him too give an account. because His law is perfect and because he is perfect by nature, this means that even telling one lie, or stealing once, or using God's name in vain once means we have falen short of the perfection he desires. because of this he must suspence Justice too those of whome have fallen short of his standard, the Punishment is spirirtual death (hell). the Good news is that Jesus came once for all time too die on the corss for our sin. we broke God's law, and Jesus paid the ultimate fine when he died upon the cross. nw we cna be forgiven and granted everlasting life through knowing and having a personal relationship with him. But, too be forgiven, we must confess and forsake our sin, and turn from it once and for all, and trust in christ that he will save you. God has allowed us to expereince this truth, he promises too all who repent that he will do Just as he has promised, and they will know The one true God and his son whome he has sent.

Truth leaves a physical imprint on the earth.... What religions do is seek to hide the physical proof to continue their promotions of superstitions... their half truth and whole lies... as to enslave humanity in ignorance ... When we hear today christians fighting to keep evolution from being taught in the schools of the USA we see the fight to keep humanity ignorant... or even keep humans from seeking truth.. for when truth is known we will see the foolishness of religions who have delivered onto humanity nothing more than ideas...

What's the point of believing something if you don't believe it's true? If you don't believe something is true, then believing in it is a waste of time. Absolute truth is overrated anyway. We are fallible human beings, and we change and grow and learn all the time. In my opinion, because we are fallible is the exact reason why we need God. I believe in God. I believe that religion, people, beliefs and doctrine can all be flawed, false and untrue, but I believe God is always true.

It's an illogical aggregation of superlatives.

A fact is either a fact, or it's not.

A "truth" is just a fact in fancy garb. Nonetheless, it's also either a truth (fact), or it's not.
