It is true that, "The Truth shall set you free."
This being said, what must a human give up to further understand and inbibe "The Truth"? Could it be that Wisdom is necessary for man to be reunited with "The Truth"?

A person doesn't need to locate truth , he IS truth.
That is The Truth. It's simple.
What he needs to "get rid of" or "give up" or "locate" are all the lies he has agreed with that tell him he isn't !
Then he can rehabilitate and return to knowing. Nothing of any value whatsoever is lost or given up in the process of doing this.

And you are right Knowledge or Knowing is the key.

The truth is a constant that requires no extra energy to see. It only takes energy to block the truth, with lies, fear, stress, etc.
What must one give up, nothing, one must simply let go to see the truth.

Here's a simple experiment to try:
Relax yourself, take some deep breaths, calm down and just relax and feel. Mentally scan your body for stress and just relax.
Now image something you know 100% to be true, you have no doubts about it.
Mentally scan your body again and feel how it is, are you still relaxed?
Next thing of something that you know to be false, a lie, an untruth.
Mentally scan your body one last time and feel how it is. Are you just as relaxed or is their some tension or stress starting to build?

Now you know the power of the truth and the cost of false beliefs.

their pride. They must admit they are unable to see and understand God's truth with their puny brain.

Human beings don't even come close to using 50% of their brain capacity. How can they expect ot be able to understand God's greatness?
