Well, first of all it DOES need to be reported! Her dad needs some serious help. Most likely they will remove the father or maybe even arrest him (you didn't say what kind of abuse was happening). Your friend may be able to stay with you or may even be put into foster care for her own safety.
Report the abuse to another parent if she feels like she can't tell her mom. School, doctors or councilors are always a good place to report abuse because they are legally bound to take action.
Very very sorry for your trouble but I hope this helps.

first you will have to be very forward with your accusations, so one would really listen. First, I'd go to the police. If you have marks on your body, they will call in social services and take photos. You will feel at first your being treated like the bad person, instead of the victim.

There are many good foster homes out here in the world. Not all good, but it's really how the person being placed acts once they get there. Foster homes have home rules just like any other home, alot of kids that have behavioral problems are the ones who usually give a foster home a bad name.
Report him he's abuseing you and he needs to stop.

Is the mother still in the home? If so she won't be going to a foster home. It's also possible another relative may take her in. Report to the police, a councilor, a teacher or an adult you trust. they will take care of the situation and make sure she gets proper care and yes it will stop!!! She really needs to do this!!!

Now that I have read the rest of it, YES report it immediately!!! If it is not for you, report it for your friend if she is scared to.

if you dont have the courage to talk to the police then talk to your school teacher or principal about that problem, and you will probably go to a foster home,it depends on how serious that abuse was,and if you were abused by your own father you are better off going to a foster home than being with an evil dad, sometimes foster homes gives you a lot more security than your real home,

Either call the police or tell the school counselor, another adult, teacher, principal. She will probably be removed from the home, but that would be better in the long run. He should not be touching her in that way. If it continues she will be scarred for a long time. She is going to already have some problems, but the longer it continues the longer the healing process will be. I have been in that same place, so tell her to get some help.

the best thing to do would be to go to a teacher you trust and have a good relationship with if you dont have a teacher to go to i would go to the police. If you do report it you most likely would be placed with a family member or you could be placed in a foster home. Please report this if you or a friend are being abused.

SHE definitly needs to report it. The sick son of a ***** needs to be put away. She would not neccesearly go to a foster home. If the other parent is fine she will stay and the father will go but if both parents are abusing she might but that might be way better than staying there. You could get a loving family...CALL 911 SOON. YOU'D NEED TO REPORT IT TO YOUR SCHOOL COUNSLER OR 911 ASAP

Tell the police first, and her Mom, and maybe call the child abuse hotline or whatever it's called (not kidding). She would need to live with her Mom or other relative, and if not, she would go to a foster home I think.

School counselor. Good chance she may need to go to a foster home. Depends on the severity. If not that bad, a foster care worker may pay visits.
