Not sure if you can help but here goes, I'm currently separated from my partner Andrew as we had a big fall out last year and have not got back together yet though we both still speak regularly. I have been going out with the girls quite a bit and have got close to a friends sister who has helped me during my separation. Geri is really kind and thoughtful and we have a good laugh about men when out together. She is a few years older than me and has been there done it etc and while we out one night suggested I have a change from men and try a relationship with another women. She said she has tried it and it was great fun even though she is married with a little girl. I just laughed at the suggestion but Ive been thinking about it alot recently. I am curious about other women but am terrified I will become a lesbian and never get back with Andy. Thats my dilemma and I wonder if you can give me some advice. Do you think I will become a lesbian if I try another woman????

not necessarily. Being attracted to other women doesn't make you a lesbian, if anything you might realize you're bisexual. But that's only if you're not only attracted to both males and females, but also develop that deep sense of connection with them. Tidbit aside: you and andy are probably over and he's just being friendly, let him go, beleive me, you'll feel so much better.

You can't BECOME a lesbian!!!! You are or you're not. If you are attracted to women, go for it. Don't date a woman because you are disillusioned by a relationship, don't date anyone for that reason. You will find someone when you are ready, calm down, and focus on getting to know yourself. You seem a little lost, now is the time to just focus on you. As for Andy, if it didn't work once odds are that if you were to reunite history will repeat itself, move on.

A fantasy (about being with a woman) in your head may not go the way you hope in reality, it could be a let down...and with Andy...is there any chance you'd get back together anyway? If not then move on as a single person who is free to date whoeva you fancy.

You sound bi-curious, if you have sexual attractions to a woman then go for it and try it out, you may like it more than bein hetro or the experience may make u completly sure of your hetrosexuality. You don't become gay your born gay.
