I have very long hair which gets notty easily, can you recommend anything that will help detangle it?

I agree with the person who said to condition your hair each time you wash. That's the #1 most important step.
After that I spray a leave in conditioner or detangler in my to detangle it and then use a wide tooth comb. My favorite is the Biolage leave in treatment (available at most hair salons). However Johnson's Kids No More Tangles detangling spray works just as well and is a lot cheaper. Plus it smells really good. So that's what I'm using right now.

Having had very long hair years ago, I recommend you always use a very good conditioner every time you wash your hair. Then buy one of those spray on, leave in one when hair is dry, to help soften the hair as you carefully comb or brush your hair. I always brushed using the tip of the brush to detangle.

a detangler i loved, my store don't longer carry it, is john freida's sheer blonde spotlight , it worked great!, what i am using now is professionals hair silkner ( silk works ), i put it on after i wash my hair & use a detangler comb & it comes out great...also you can use a small amount of conditoner, on damp hair ( leave it in) work it through & comb out, hope i helped good luck!

Sleep with a satin pillowcase - it helps ALOT with keeping you hair from tangling.
