She blamed me in her random talks and screams. am I'm currently living at home with 2 youngerr sisters And I need advise. Should I leave, how can assist my mother.

You're going to have to wait until the doctors have finished their evaluation to know what happened.

But don't take things she said seriously.

When things go wrong with the brain (as with a bad reaction to medication), people often lash out at those closest to them.

I'm assuming the medication was one prescribed for her. If not, never give someone someone else's meds.

I'm sure this was very upsetting and scary, but she's being cared for now, and the doctors will do their best to figure out what went wrong.

Is there another relative who can come and be with you now?

Or a friend of the family?

A sad story. Mental illnesses are the result of chemical imbalances in the brain; not the actions of other people. She's in the hospital which is where she needs to be. You are home with your sisters which is where you need to be. Don't leave.

Your mother's doctors will tell you how you can assist your mother. They will probably prescribe her medicine.

You'll all be okay.

It kind of sounds like paranoid schizophrenia to me. Women don't have some subtle power to make you feel mentally and physically ill in their presence. You need a new therapist.

I suppose you havent had a fight with your mother.
if you have then that doesnt mean you made her mentally ill, she has had an attack. you should try to be away from her for sometime to let her relieve.
dont worry too much.
take care of your younger sisters.they will miss your mother and you have to be the mom for them.
let your dad take care of your mom and if he isnt around then you make sure that she is being treated properly in the hospital but advice you not to go infront of her for some days.
everything will be fine.

You did not cause your mom's breakdown. Talk to her doctors, they should be able to explain what is going on with your mother and what to expect. Your sisters need you, that's the best way you can assist your mother.

Sorry.

I don't think there is anything you can do. If you feel that your living conditions are unsafe try to find a relative where you and your sisters can live for a little while until your mom is stable.
