No. 1999. No fire in the sky.

No. Oracles and other mystics have tried it on already. Keep it vague and write forever and your bound to hit something that can be vaguely interpreted as a prediction. There are always going to be predictions for the world to end. The current craze is 2007. Mayan calendar stops, the repetition in the I Ching ends on 2007. There is a red heifer born in Jerusalem that is supposed to bring on end days.

No, because he only has about a 25% success rate. The Bible says that any prophecy that is from God will prove 100% true. That tells me that Nostradamus was just a fairly good guesser.

As he apparently predicted the end of the world in 2000, what's he doing predicting yet more things in the future?

No,and here's why. I belive only god knows the future. I recognize that many people belive that God told him when the end of the world was and so forth, but I dont, and here's why. When Jesus was asked by his deciples when the second coming of Christ was, he said that only the Father (God) knows, and that noone (not even him) knows the time or hour. If God dosn't tell his own son, he definitly isn't going to tell Nostradamus.

not really I just read them for entertainment! plus he said the world was going to end in 2000...Nothing happened
here were some of his predictions in 1999-2000
A world war, which begins in 1999
A invasion of the lands by the ocean waters and huge waves
The collision with a comet

I was under my bed the whole time of dec 31, 1999 because there were going to be explosions all over the place and that it was going to be night forever...None of that ever happened..

I watched a special on him and he was a very devout man. He could have had the Lord lead him in his predictions. We may never know ,but as I said ,he was a very spiritual and devout man.

There have been MILLIONS of 'doomsdays' or 'end of the world' predictions (Remember 6/6/06?) so far, none have been right, what makes this one different?

I find them fascinating and it seems a lot of them have come true, but I have not studied them in depth.

but in a general Yes or No, to be honest I would have to go with Yes.

No.

For predictions to be accurate centuries out, the future would have to be pre-determined.

That means no free will and no random chance.

I have free will, I see chance events occur.

So such predictions cannot be fact based.
