I have known a guy for 6 years and we just found out we liked each other in october! he lives in plugferville and I live in South of austin at least 30 minutes away I want to trust him but then I cant what should I do?

Yea I know trusting a guy takes time. For your first meeting, maybe do coffee for 15-30 minutes to feel out the guy. Just do that and I think this is safe enough for both of you.

I know what you mean, trust is a big deal when it comes to relationships, and possible ones as well. You need to talk to him, and explain how you feel. Don't shut him out, just because you have trust issues, as of right now. Try getting to know him better on a friendship level, so he can prove his trustfulness to you. That way, they'll be no reason for doubt!

im a man and ive had this problem befor. you should go out on a few dates but dont get too attached. reputations dont mean anything because i have a bad rep. i used to cheat but now i realized that one good night isnt worth throwing away one great year with someone else so just give him a chance but take it slow until the trust is built

Trust is a big part of any relationship. Has he ever done anything that makes you not want to trust him? If not, give the guy a chance.

trust is key in a relationship.
if you dont trust, then it wont work out.
i personally think long relationships are sad and very difficult, and therefore never work out.
but just do what yur heart tells.
